Loving Gracefully
Aligning Body, Mind & Spirit
in Creating the Life Your Heart Desires
"Today let something extraordinary happen that will change our life forever. Let everything we do and say be an expression of the beauty in our heart, always based on love."
Don Miguel Ruiz, The Mastery of Love (1999)

Please join us on Thursday, November 6, 2008, for a journey to the heart and an exploration of mind/body as a vehicle for spirit. In this workshop, we will cultivate a more loving, compassionate, and joyful way of being by learning about and working with the mind, body, emotions, breath, and subtle energy. Our journey will include presentations, self-reflection, group interactions, meditation, guided imagery, yoga and movement, music and spiritual communion. We will practice releasing limiting physical, emotional, and behavioral patterns, freeing ourselves to enjoy greater vitality, creativity, intimacy, and courage in our lives.
Integrating scientific knowledge and wisdom from a variety of cultural, spiritual and experiential traditions, we invite you to explore with us:
• body/mind as vehicle for spirit
• interpersonal neurobiology and the social circuitry of our brain
• mindfulness as a form of interpersonal and intrapersonal
attunement
• neural plasticity: an opportunity to change our brains and improve
our minds
• differentiating between conditioned personality patterns and the
deeper nature of the True Self
• differentiating between a mindful response and an unconscious
emotional reaction
• specific tools for living in the present moment and consciously
creating the life you want to be living
